Supported Living Group Homes

ViaQuest Behavioral Health of Ohio Supported Living Group homes are residential facilities designed to serve individuals who are linked to the Ohio MR/DD system. The facility will consider for admission individuals who have a diagnosis, from a licensed psychologist, of Mental Retardation or a Developmental Disability and/or a Mental Health Disorder, and are behaviorally challenged. The homes are not licensed by any governmental body, and the program may be designed to serve a certain type of population. Because of their adjudication or other history, these individuals may have very few residential options available to them, and placement is expected to be long term. Because rights are generally restricted due to health and safety concerns, it is essential that the guardian for an individual and the individual’s team be in complete agreement in order for placement to occur.

Traditional Supported Living

ViaQuest Behavioral Health of Ohio also serves adults and children through Ohio’s Individual Option waiver program. This program is designed to provide supports to individuals with Mental Retardation and/or another Developmental Disability in a person’s home or the family home.
