Position Title: TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support)
Position Location: Reading, PA
Job Summary: TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support) provides one-on-one behavioral support to children and adolescents with a mental health diagnosis, including but not limited to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Attachment disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Behavioral supports may be provided in the child’s home, school, or other community location. TSS follows interventions outlined in each child’s individualized treatment plan. All cases are supervised by a Master’s Degree level clinical.
Salary and Benefits: Part-time pays $14/hour, up to 32 hours per week. Full-time pays $12.50/hour, plus health insurance benefits and paid holidays. Both part-time and full-time employees are eligible for the quarterly bonus as well.
Position Requirements: Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field; or, a Bachelor’s Degree in an unrelated field plus one year of full-time, paid work experience with children and/or adolescents; or, an Associate’s Degree OR a minimum of 60 credits plus 3 years of full-time, paid work experience with children and/or adolescents.

Position Title: Counselor Aide
Position Location: York, PA

Position Title: Support Service Specialist
Position Location: Columbus, Ohio
Job Summary: The Support Services Specialist is responsible to work cooperatively with the Home Manager and other staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating services and programming for individuals served. The Support Services Specialist follows up directly with the Home Manager on any service, program, medical, household or personnel issues within the service site. The Support Services Specialist is responsible to provide direct services and supports to the individuals served, including, but not limited to: assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation, completion of various household tasks, and personal care assistance. This person will also be supervising, teaching, and assisting the individuals served in every aspect of his/her life, with the goals of fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that the health and safety needs are met at all times.
Position Requirements: Minimum 21 years of age. High School diploma/GED required and prior education/experience in residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. The Support Services Specialist must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, full personal automobile liability insurance and a driving record which allows candidate to be covered by the agency’s insurance policy. The candidate must be willing to transport individuals served in their personal vehicle and must have a cell phone and/or telephone and be accessible to supervisors and other employees. The Support Services Specialist must be responsible, mature, flexible and have a sincere desire to provide direct support to the individuals served. They must also possess positive interpersonal skills and work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, demonstrating a supportive attitude.

Position Title: Support Service Coordinator
Position Location: Columbus, Ohio
Job Summary: Support Services Coordinator is a pivotal position in the home. This individual performs all of the responsibilities and duties of the Support Services Specialist, and in addition holds primary responsibility for areas of health care/nutrition and household management for the consumers. In these areas, the Support Services Coordinator should be involved directly in all assessments, planning, and implementation of services and supports. Finally, s/he should assist in direct training, follow up, and coaching with service staff, keeping the Program Director informed at all times.
The person in this position has the responsibility further to coordinate the variety of services including but not limited to: consumer finances, recreation, health services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, and all other supports/services necessary to ensure a good quality of life. The Support Services Coordinator is responsible to assist the Program Director in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to the consumers, and in communicating with staff and team members.
The Support Services Coordinator position is full-time. Responsible to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position during regularly scheduled shifts, including holidays (if scheduled), and weekend shifts as scheduled. The position also requires some on-call for emergencies. Hours for administrative time will be assigned by the Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 21 years of age. High school diploma/GED required. Valid Ohio driver’s license, personal liability insurance, and driving record which allows candidates to be covered by agency insurance policy required. Willingness to use personal vehicle to transport consumers required. Willingness to carry a communication device that will allow staff to make contact when on-call. Prior education and/or experience in residential services for the developmentally disabled preferred. Must be responsible, reliable, and able to carry out job functions independently without ongoing supervision.
Must also possess all of the following: a sincere desire to provide direct service and support to persons with developmental disabilities; ability to make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities; ability to work as a team member to maintain consistency and quality in services; ability to exchange support, constructive criticism, and ideas with other staff members.
